I am a Freelance writer, English educator and supervisor in a junior/senior high school with students from grades seven through twelve. Having taught in each of these grades, with students of various learning styles and ability levels, I have spent the last nine years learning as much as I can about education and English Language Arts.

I earned a Bachelor’s degree in English from the State University of New York at Stony Brook and a Master’s degree in English Education from Hofstra University. I obtained school and district administrator certification through The College of Saint Rose.

Married to a fellow English teacher, discussions of literature, educational issues, and creative lesson planning are a constant in my household.

I am the mother of two beautiful girls, ages eleven years and one year old. I relish their discoveries each and every day and work diligently to be the educator that I want for them to have at the front of their classrooms.
